Children in public school systems throughout North Alabama achieve outstanding test score results. 86% of North Alabama’s school systems exceeded the state school system average on the Alabama High School Graduation Exam.

North Alabama provides a strong educational background to students of all ages. Twelve institutions of higher education (5 four-year institutions and 7 two-year technical / community colleges) provide a number of diverse higher education opportunities. Industrial related R&D and flexible training programs are also available to industry.
